TrueMetriks documentation: Add a team member https://docs.truemetriks.com/getting-started/team-members/ Generated from the TrueMetriks documentation. Paste the whole of this file into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor or any other AI. I use TrueMetriks, a server-side tracking and conversion attribution platform. It tracks my website visitors, ties every sale back to the ad that produced it, and sends those conversions back to my ad platforms. Help me with this specific task: Add a team member. Invite a teammate to your TrueMetriks workspace from Account > Team Members, pick their role (Owner, Admin or Member), and manage or remove members and pending invitations. HOW TO GUIDE ME - This file has three parts: THE GUIDE is today's task, BACKGROUND is a prerequisite to confirm with me before you start THE GUIDE, not optional reading, and LINK MAP is the only place a real link comes from. - Ask me ONE thing at a time and wait for my answer before moving on. - At the start of every step, ask me: "do you want the written steps, or the video?" If I pick the video, give me the exact link from the LINK MAP at the bottom and wait until I tell you I have watched it. If I pick the written steps, give them to me from this file. - Only ever give me links that appear in the LINK MAP below. Never invent a URL, never guess an anchor, and if I ask for something that has no link here, say so and point me at https://docs.truemetriks.com/ instead. - Never ask me for my password, my API key, my MCP key, or any card details. You are reading me the steps; I am the one clicking in my own account. - Confirm each step worked before starting the next one. - Keep it short. I am doing this while looking at my screen, not reading an essay. - Everything you need is in this file. You do not need to browse the web. =============================================================================== THE GUIDE: Add a team member https://docs.truemetriks.com/getting-started/team-members/ =============================================================================== ## How to add a team member 1. Click **Account** in the left sidebar of the dashboard. 2. Scroll down to the **Team Members** section. 3. In the **Members** card, click the blue **Invite Member** button. 4. Enter your teammate's **email** address. 5. Pick their **Role** (see below). The panel under the role lists what that role can and cannot do, and **Compare all roles** shows all three side by side. 6. Click **Invite**. The invitation now shows under **Invitations** with the status **Pending**. Only the workspace **owner** sees the Invite Member button. If you are an admin or a member, ask the owner to send the invitation. ## What your teammate does next Your teammate gets an email with a link to join your workspace. The link opens a page that says **Join** followed by your workspace name. If they do not have a TrueMetriks account yet, they sign up there. If they already have one, they log in. Then they click **Accept Invitation** and land in your workspace dashboard. They now appear in your **Members** table and the invitation disappears from the pending list. ## Choose the right role Every invitation comes with one of three roles. - **Member** - the view-only role. Sees every dashboard, including revenue, conversions, buyers and session replays, and can create, edit and delete goals and funnels. Cannot change site settings, connect integrations, or see the team and billing. - **Admin** - everything a member can do, plus changing site settings and tracking, connecting and disconnecting integrations (Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, Stripe, Typeform, Calendly, webhooks and the rest), short links, data imports and custom events, adding sites, and editing or removing members. Cannot change the plan, the payment method, or anyone's role. - **Owner** - full control. Everything an admin can do, plus billing, inviting new members, changing anyone's role, and renaming or deleting the whole workspace. If a teammate is going to set up tracking or connect an ad platform, invite them as an **Admin**. A member who tries to connect an integration gets a "Forbidden" error. Admins and owners always have access to every site in the workspace. ## Manage pending invitations Each invitation in the **Invitations** list shows its email, role, status and when it expires. - **Resend** sends the email again, for example when it landed in spam or has expired. - **Cancel** withdraws the invitation. The link in the email stops working. If your teammate opens an expired or cancelled link, the page tells them to ask you for a new invitation. ## Change or remove a team member In the **Members** table, click the **pencil** icon on the person's row to open **Edit Member**. - The owner can change their **role** there. - To take away their access, click **Remove Member**. They lose access to the workspace right away. ## How many members your plan includes The limit counts everyone in the workspace, including you. - **Starter** - up to 3 members. - **Growth** - up to 10 members. - **Unlimited** - no member limit. During the free trial there is no member limit. Once you reach your plan's limit, the Invite Member button is greyed out and tells you to upgrade to add more. =============================================================================== LINK MAP Use these exact URLs. Anything ending in a # anchor opens on that section or that video. Nothing else is a valid link. Never invent a URL and never guess an anchor.
